Thoughts about my research

The research topic I have chosen to do is on section 20 of the civil rights act of 1964, specifically Title IX. The Title basically states that no one should be segregated, based on their gender, in any activity that is federally funded. When applied to college sports the title began to cause a major issue because women were not being equally represented on the athletic terms. So to comply to the title schools had to begin cutting smaller sports in their athletic programs. I believe that the original intentions of this Law were morally correct but I believe that some universities have taken the law and manipulated the laws into discrimination to smaller less income sports.
The sources that I have been most useful to me at this moment are http://www.collegesportsscholarships.com/title-ix-fall-college-wrestling.htm, http://www2.ed.gov/about/offices/list/ocr/letters/colleague-20100420.html, and http://www2.ed.gov/about/offices/list/ocr/docs/t9interp.html. The sources have given me many testimonies of how the Law has cut many promising young male careers short due to the execution of their particular sports program. I still think that I need some more articles on how title IX has helped women overcome discrimination or how it’s not helping women overcome it at all, hopefully that will be enough to cover all the view points and opinions I need to cover.
Some obstacles that I might encounter are opinions that I haven't already considered. The other major problems that I might encounter is biased research due to the fact that most sports articles are written by men and the Title negatively affects men, so most sports research articles will negatively portray the Law. To overcome these two problems I need to get a wider view point of the Law and how it affects women. I also need to see if the article has helped men in any way overcome any discrimination of any kind. Overall, the main problem that I need to focus on is my own personal views of the law. I need to  write the paper as unbias as possible so my personal thoughts do bot further contort the law.
